My father worked as an accountant and I remember going around with him to do the books for various business in Worcester County, Massachusetts. I started doing taxes in 1972, after I got out of college. I worked as a Leominster firefighter until my retirement in 2011, when I bought a condo in Estero with plans to move to Florida to enjoy the nice weather. Most of my clients, some of whom already had me do their taxes remotely, wanted to continue employing me as their tax professional. I'm known for my fast turnaround time, innovative thinking, and reasonable rates.
My wife and I have been married for over thirty-five years, but she's only been working for me for about half that time. I like to tell people that the secret to a good married life is to let your wife take days off. Once the business became successful, I needed her help to keep everything running smoothly. If you call, visit, or need an in-home delivery, you might see or talk to her rather than me.
If you come into the office or Skype with us, you'll probably see Timmy, our office assistant. We adopted him from the Pat Brody Shelter in 2011. He's very friendly and likes to help us by jumping on our documents and clients' laps. But if you don't like cats or are allergic, we can always spirit him onto our lanai, where he likes to stare at the geckos and birds.
